Prawn Gravy

Ingredients :

  • 4 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Fenugreek
  • 100g Small Onion
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 Tomato
  • 1 kg Prawn
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tbsp Pepper Powder
  • 2 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Milk
  • Salt to taste

How to make Prawn Gravy

  • First take a large pan over medium flame and heat sesame oil for about 2 minutes.
  • After oil heated add chopped small onion in it and saute well untill turns golden colour.
  • Then add green chilli, ginger garlic paste, chopped tomato and saute it well.
  • Now add prawn to the pan and cook it for 2 minutes.
  • After prawn cooked, its a time to add masala’s like chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, salt to taste.
  • After masala added, saute it add water and close the lid to the pan, then cook for 5 minutes on medium flame till the prawns are tender.
  • Now the prawns are cooked well but the gravy is light. So add coconut milk to enrich the gravy flavour ( if you not like coconut milk just leave it ).
  • Then mix it well and serve it hot with roti or rice.
